On 20th of June 2025, in hall 211 of UACEG, the final of the competition "TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIONS IN THE MODERN ENVIRONMENT" was held in partnership with the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. The ceremony was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arch. Gichka Kutova-Kamenova - Rector of the University and Mr. Plevneliev - President of the Republic of Bulgaria 2012 - 2017 and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Lozen Tech Park. Together with the other members of the jury - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Hristov Ranchev – General Manager of "Lindner Immobilien Management" EOOD and "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD, Head of the Department of "Financial Control", UNWE; Arch. Denitsa Drumeva - senior architect and team leader of a team at IPA and Arch. Daniel Pavlov – Architect at Lindner Immobilien Management EOOD has the difficult task of reviewing all the projects and selecting the winners.

Each of the teams selected and reaching the final had the opportunity to present their idea to their jury. The students impressed not only with extremely original and detailed projects, but also with numerous visualizations, models and boards aimed at illustrating them. In the projects we saw innovative, non-standard and close to nature materials, including clay, stone, wood, glass, hemp bricks and bamboo, as well as 3D printing technology. In addition to the materials used, the projects also differ in the way they follow the geometry and natural slope of the terrain. Many of the students also emphasize the greenery in the surrounding and internal spaces, aiming to both fit the properties into the natural landscape and create more comfort, beauty and harmony for their inhabitants.

The competition among the projects was very high and this prompted the investor to increase its built-in fund and announce another additional prize, so here are the awarded projects of the students from UACEG:

1st place – Project (re)EXPO CENTER by Darina Boncheva, Vasil Todorov, Hristo Tilev and Alexander Yordanov;

2nd place – Project Lozentopia by Kristina Shopova;

3rd place – Project Layer by Layer by Yana Vasileva, Teodora Dimitrova and Tatyana Stancheva;

3rd place – Project CAPCULE by Sofia Solovieva.

Congratulations to the winners, we wish them much success and perseverance in the future, and we at Lozen Tech Park will be happy to have the opportunity to further cooperate with them within the framework of the first private technology park in Bulgaria!
